I didn't know he was so famous; of course, pierogi are a bit like bite-sized pies. Perhaps that's the connection. I think they just want him to dress up in the suit.Whatever the reason for it, Pierogi Fest is tons of fun, or so I've seen on TV. I've never actually gone. Here's a summary:
